Trip to Chatanooga and Atlanta

This trip was wonderful... In the first step Chatanooga I could know more about the history of the United States. In the second one, Atlanta, I could see the enormous city that has interesting places to visit. I loved each one that I visited. The teacher Lauren was with us.Here are some photos...

The meeting with the mentor

On Thursday seventh I met my mentor Natalia Ward. It was our first meeting and  it was very important too. She gave to me and to my partner a feedback about our lesson plan and she gave some suggestions to improve it. The mentor suggested some very interesting websites too. On February eleventh we had our second meeting and it was very productive too. Natalia helped a lot with the material and the suggestions.

Lenoir City schools

On february sixth I and eleven colleagues visited two schools. One was elementary school and other  high school.First of all when we went there, it was lunch's time and we had it with the students.The food was good, the students were very educated and the teachers were all the time with them. After this, we went to know the school's structure. The school is big and so organized. Once a week the sudents go to the library to watch a lecture's class. First, the teacher told a story for the students and then they went to the tables to do the exercises about the story.The students were so interested in the story and participated when the teacher asked them.

In the high school I saw a kind of top ten. The photos of the best students of the school are in the entrance.The principal received us very well. The school is huge and very organized. Each student has a locker to put their material.I observed an optional lterature's class and the classroom was crowded. This doesn't happen on my school... The students didn't talk and participated of the class. Then I observed a drama's class. At first, the teacher asked the students about an exercise that they did on last class and it was in pairs and then the teacher asked them to show scenes of the exercises. It was a very good presentation.  

Trip to Cherokee- North Carolina

The trip to Cherokee was so interesting! I could know about the cherokee's comunity. We visited the school that is integrated (elementary, middle and high school) The structure of the school is excellent! Each  class has a smart board, there is an excellent basketball court and a baseball court too. There is an excellent auditorium where we were received with aspecial lunch.We didn't see the students because it was Saturday. The principal showed to us the whole school.
